My Top Drawer Highlights

I had such a fab time at Top Drawer-Home London  last week, there is nothing I love more than flying the flag for British Manufacturing, with so many exhibitors making their debut appearance  its safe to say that if you were only visiting one trade show then this would be the one.

I chatted with so many inspiring people, I wish I could have got round more,  here are some of my highlights.

20150111_143950Cinderela B handmade jewellery was absolutely beautiful, all  designed and handmade in a studio in Spitalfields London.  Exotic inspiration is reflected with the Palms, Pineapples, birds and butterflies. In 2012 Cinderela B was chosen by Goldsmiths to feature in their ‘Best of British’ list.

I loved the Liberty print wrap bracelets with little charms.

Mutts and Hounds was another stand that got my attention,  Founded in 2011 and based in Wiltshire. Supporting British manufacturing Mutts & Hounds design and make a range of  goods for hound and home that are not only stylish but quintessentially English.

20150111_141831As a little pooch owner myself I’m always looking for something with that special touch. Mutts & Hounds supply high-profile stockists including  Harrods, John Lewis and Selfridges. To see more of the collections check out the website Mutts & Hounds

20150119_174642My fantastic goodie bag,  I have already tried the Make believe tan mist,  I do love my tanning products,  it was so easy to use, smelt gorgeous and was a lovely colour.

The bracelet I thought was real edgy and fab. I’ve never seen anything like this before, what a fab idea,  Made from ethically sourced rubber bands. There are some fab statement pieces on the website,  take a look. Delight London.

I hope you enjoy my highlights

Anna Jacobs art

Last week I was lucky to be a vip guest at Top Drawer and Home-London trade show at Olympia. Being in the British Manufacturing industry I was keen to see more people showcasing their products and boy I wasn’t disappointed when I met new artist and designer Anna Jacobs.

SAM_2619Anna’s artwork is stunning I instantly fell in love with everything.  Anna is also a massive Zatchels fan, not only was she sporting my all time favourite classic orange satchel she teamed it perfectly with one of her beautiful silk scarves

Latest technology is used to capture Anna’s original artwork and digitally printed on to an array of fabrics including lampshades, cushions, stationary and beautiful silk scarves.PR-orange-scarf-images (1)Breaking Dawn silk scarf in orange RRP £150Anna Jacobs painting in studioAnna’s new creative business launched in 2014, after previously working in theatre, music, and in the city, now an interior designer, artist, and tutor at Chelsea college of arts.

Nextmas wishlist

My wishlist this year is a little different as I prepare to move house next year so a lot of things are a bit ‘Home’ oriented.

One thing I love about Next directory is the ability to put things together to look beautiful in your home. 650-279-X54sThese Flutterby  wine glasses are beautiful and very pretty and are 12.99 for set of 4

671-288-G40sA cute little bird house is a must for every garden,  we have little birds  in our bird house here every year, and hopefully they will continue after we move so it will be nice to have a little house in our new garden too.  This cute Love Bird Nest house would be perfect.

699-164-G40sWe spend a lot of time in the kitchen, this Spice Carousel would get plenty of use.
674-575-G40s (1) This fab fur coat has been on my wish list from the first day I saw it.  I showed it to hubby quite clearly with lots of hints but I’m afraid I caved in and bought it for myself as a treat. I also figured by the time Hubby dearest got the hint it would be sold out. (although nice gloves and handbag to match would be greatly recieved lol)

695-522-G67s4Cushions, do people get cushions for Xmas, I’m not sure but as I am collecting for upcoming house move I have my eye on these lovely silver luxe faux fur cushions and throw.

861343 I did buy someone one of these last Xmas and thought how nice it would be to have one too, I have smelled the New York fragrance diffuser in the stores and I like it the best and at £15 for the small or £20 for the large I think its a very good gift.

675-572-X54sPj’s, who doesn’t like to snuggle up in brand new pj’s on Xmas day, a glass of something sparkly in hand and soaking up the atmosphere and feeling blessed.  Obviously being me and my love for sparkles these would be perfect. Black sparkle skyline pyjamas £28

I hope you like my #Nextmaswishlist

Winter Coats

Now the weather is changing it’s time to start wrapping up, although is has been quite mild lately it will soon be bitterly cold which means nice winter coats to feel snug in.

I’m a fur coat kind of girl and have my eye on a few in the high street at the moment.660232_mainThis lovely faux fur oversized coat is from River Island at £100, I really like this but I’m just a bit on the shelf as it does not fasten.

674-575-G40sI love the blue colour of this from Next at £78 I also like it looks to have a bit of shape to it, I feel some fur coats can look too bulky.

image1xxlThis looks so fluffy and fun from ASOS at £90

azz24911_blue_default_tBoohoo have some beautiful coats at very reasonable prices too, this baby blue is so cute at £60.

Would love to hear what you think

Vanilla Brulee

SAM_2559Just a quick post today to share this little bottle of delight with you, Vanilla Brulee home fragrance oil.

I purchased this at a recent Body Shop party and oh my word I just have to share this with you, the smell is out of this world amazing,  (I think so) such a tiny little bottle can bring so much happiness.  Have to say it was the Brulee bit that grabbed my attention.

These are just £4 and as you only use a tiny drop it will last ages, by far one of my best finds for October

Enjoy
